Yup, I thought that would happen. I think it was all a publicity stunt... He's going through with it...
Really made me think he wanted to "steal the deal" with a lower bid at the very end, but he didn't.

I thought I read somewhere that this could be over in a matter of days, and Elon Musk would have full control of Twitter.

The fact is, I don't hate Elon Musk. I don't agree with him on certain subjects but I don't know that he's a bad person, at least not any worse than anyone else. I don't think there's any contradiction in liking someone and criticizing them. It's entirely possible to like someone and also see their faults.
