Hello! Today I sent out an email to Jessica about elective offerings and she sent me a list of all of the YourPace courses offered in my BLS Education program as well as the lists for accounting/political science/business marketing/pm/mangement/supply chain/criminal justice/english and professional communication.
What I'm wondering is... what are the requirements for these 24 elective credits I need to take? I currently have 4 EDU classes I need to wipe out along with my Spanish course and then all I have left are the electives. Between my 6 courses this session and those 4 EDU ones next semester I believe I will be good on classes that I need to take AT UMPI (10 courses, right?).
I can definitely do those 4 EDU classes in this next summer session, so could I pick my 24 hours based off of classes I can take on Sophia and transfer over to save time?
After this degree I am hopping into a different program to get my Residency License teaching high school English, so I am not extremely worried about obtaining a second concentration at the moment if that makes a difference! Any ideas on how I could go about this would be extremely appreciated!

Interesting... There's not enough details, even after looking at your previous thread here:
https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...-Eval-Help
The reason you won't get a concrete answer is because... we don't know what UL you have taken at UMPI or will be taking at UMPI in the minor or not. That area determines what you can take outside of UMPI.
At this point in time... your best bet is to complete all your other courses, put a hold on UMPI, take courses elsewhere and transfer them in. Generally, you want to take everything OUTSIDE of UMPI and transfer into UMPI, and finish the courses remaining at UMPI. You're all mixed up right now because you need to take courses outside to transfer them in... We need a bigger picture, it's still too unclear!

Your wording is a bit confusing. If I'm understanding this post correctly, you have to complete 4 EDU classes, Spanish, and 24 UL courses? The 24 credits shown on your degree evaluation say UL as in Upper Level so they need to be 300 or 400 courses. Jessica can help you select courses. Please read your degree audit and confirm with Jessica as most of the 24 UL credits have to be completed at UMPI unless this has changed. The only UL on Sophia is Business Law. I would definitely speak with Jessica about what you need to complete your degree. You also need permission from her to transfer in courses as you're an enrolled student.

That's right and as I mentioned, your degree choice and courses you take at UMPI determine the numbers usable in the major/concentration/minor and what can be used for the electives. If it's a Major or Major with concentration you have, then you don't need to worry, if it's just a minor, the minor doesn't have enough UL, those 24 UL would be in the electives.
