Those that went there or are going there currently, can we share experiences? Classes you are taking, the format of the program, tips and tricks...
I'd love to read more about this specific school.
My 2 cents:
I asked questions and got almost immediate replies every time I sent an email. I love their quickness! Applied, sent transcripts (ACE and B&M school), sent over FAFSA, and same day received my school log in information with everything at my fingertips. Library at my service. Email already set up.
I'm hoping that I can squeeze into the next session but if not, I'm prepared and ready for Summer session.
Anyhow, thoughts from people who have been through their program??

Most people on this forum are from all over the country or even the world. With thousands of community colleges across the country, many cheaper than this school, and not accepting ACE credit that I can tell, you're just not going to get many people who will be able to respond to you.
Generally, this forum is for some specific schools (the Big 3, some competency-based school, and almost all accept ACE and/or NCCRS credit).

They do take ACE and there was a long thread about people doing their free associate degree through their union. Since I read where people were signing up and taking the degree, I assumed I may get some responses.

This is the school that gives out free tuition if you are in a union though. So there are a handful of people on this forum at this school.

I took 8 or so courses at EGCC, all business and accounting. I was a member of an AFL-CIO union at the time, so it didn’t cost me anything. My feelings were generally positive.
Dealing with folks to get set up in the program, deal with transcripts and equivalences, and registering for courses was very easy and straightforward.
I had mixed feelings about instructors. I had a couple who had hour-long telephone conversations with me about their courses, about my interest in becoming an accountant, etc. Most instructors were pretty responsive, responding to emails within 1 to 2 business days. I had one instructor who didn’t respond, didn’t grade things in timely manner, but you can run into that sort of thing anywhere.
The materials for the courses that I took were all integrated into the online materials (I think that is the case for all courses, but not sure/don’t rely on my memory of that), so no purchasing textbooks or other materials. The materials and technology were fair. (Sorry, not a computer/IT person and don’t have the vocabulary to really articulate my feelings). I have also taken online courses with GA Tech, University of the Cumberlands, and UMPI. EGCC’s were not as good as any of those other institutions. More bugs, more multiple choice questions with multiple right answers or no right answers, that sort of thing. Let’s also say that the questions don’t seem to get changed all that frequently and people take advantage of that fact, if you take my meaning.
I was super happy to get to take these courses for free. I did learn a lot from my classes at EGCC. To be perfectly honest with you, because of the content issues there were multiple occasions when I said to myself “I am glad this is free, glad I am not paying hundreds of dollars for these courses”.
Master of Accountancy (taxation concentration), University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, in progress.
Master of Business Administration (financial planning specialization), University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, in progress.

If the company you work for is part of a union and has partnered with EGCC, it would be a good idea to get the free Associates after you get BOG AAS. I think it would be worth it if there is a "specialty" for that associates. However, if the company is not a partner of EGCC, then it's going to be costly, I just checked their tuition for in-state/out of state: https://egcc.edu/about-us/institution/tuition-and-fees/

I was considering this for my twins (dad is in a participating Union) for a Criminal Justice Associates after their BSLS. Do you have a "transfer" list for which ACE credits they accept?

They're evaluating my credits. As soon as they're done I'll post.
I'm 90% sure they stated that the ACE credits would work. However, the degree I'm going for only has a couple of "gen ed" style courses and there are 51 credits specifically for the concentration (leaving 9 for gen ed stuff)

Which degree are you going for? The great thing with the union affiliation is that it will allow you to earn your bachelors pretty much free there after getting the associates through them
