Evening everyone,
I'm wondering what the easiest classes are for Excelsior. I would just like your own opinion for this.
The classes I'm talking about are ones taken through the school, as I need 9 more credits from the school to get my AA.

"Easy" depends on your background and interests, for the most part. If you don't need upper level credit, lower level classes should be a bit easier than 300 & 400 level classes. Also, I've heard that the CD-ROM courses are good way to go since you won't have to post discussion board responses.

is there a couple of DSST, CLEP, or ECE tests you can take to test out of it?
if you need it or it will satisfy it, look into like the Social Science & History CLEP - its 6 units.
Just see which 9 credits you need in what area and just test out of em - there gotta be at least one
good luck!

depends on subject and your skill set.
I've taken some history courses, and all you have to do is write research papers. If you're good at writing papers, then you pretty much get an A.
and sunshine is correct, no discussion board questions if you do CD-Rom courses. Instead they want you to do these non-graded assignments for attendance records or something, but since they weren't graded, I just wrote the papers for the graded stuff and turned it in early to avoid doing the non-graded stuff.

Just go to the EC website and you can search through their course offerings by school (liberal arts, business, etc.). Then you can sort by delivery method at the top and you''l be able to see all of the CD-ROM courses lumped together if you scroll down. I just checked it out and there are quite a few.

Math 113- College Math if they are offering it (haven't seen it some semesters) For me it was a breeze. Its more of a pre-algebra/basic algebra course.
I'm pretty sure it's too remedial to fill the graduation requirement for math. I had already had intermediate algebra but my advisor let me take it to fill an elective since I was down to 23 hours of "anything I wanted to take"
If you are decent in math basics, percentages, basic solve for x and y algebra -you could likely pass it blind without book or study.
For anyone scared of taking their required math couse- its a great intro for getting your math skills back.
