I studied for about 7-10 days, but a total of probably only 5-8 hours.

Just completed my 5th exam in 5 weeks today.
Analyzing and Interpreting Literature (75) was the easiest and it wasnt even close. Only studied a list of literary terms an hour before the test. 6 credits as opposed to 3. And Im a finance guy.....no background in classical literature.

I just passed the Social Science and History clep exam with a 65 yesterday. I used only the IC flashcards for study, but I did go through every question and wright down the the ones I answered incorrectly (and there were a lot) to help retention.
I reviewed the US history, Sociology, and Psychology primarily as I felt that I had a pretty good grasp on economics. I studied for about 1.5 weeks and have not taken any previous sociology, history, or psyc exams. I have the official CLEP study guide and took the practice test and scored 60% or so and the questions were not covered by the material I had studied here? I was concerned that the real test would be the same. I was amazed as I took the real test! The majority of the questions were on the same topics that I had studied on the IC flashcards! WELL DONE! Pay attention to the US history cards! I had many questions regarding this. Also several questions about Russia and communism. I cant emphasize enough that IC was right on the test that i completed! Thank you.

Hello. Where did you study the literary terms? Were there essay questions too? Does the test show how many you missed? Thanks in advance.

Shun,
Only need to know a few literary terms, metaphor etc. But really its about reading and translating the information. You dont need any real knowledge of literature to pass this exam.
