micro and macro CLEPs before Christmas

Hi. I've just plunged into studying for both of these cleps in order to bolster my grad school applications. I could use the advice of anyone who has passed these cleps in determining how much effort and what sort of study scheme would be best to achieve at least a 4 on them. I expect to have about 8 weeks or so to do this but unfortunately for me, I'm taking care of a two-year old at the same time and usually have only the rump end of the day to tackle these things. Any ideas on a plan?

I recently took both of these!! I studied each for 2-3 weeks, so I know that you can get them both in by Christmas! I used the REA book and the Official Clep Study Guide. don't remember using the Peterson's exams for these, but I would definitely use them since they are free and usually good practice exams! I had trouble with Macro and only scored a 51(close one!) on my Clep, but felt like Micro was just a lot of the same material and Macro helped cement the Micro material and was able to score a 63 on it! I would just go through the REA book and also I found some really helpful YouTube videos for both of these subjects...and that really helped to have a visual explanation and have someone else's explanation of things! I recommend taking them in sequence to to conceptual overlap. Buy the REA books, study the reviews sections, use the REA practice tests and the peterson practice tests to gauge your progress. Don't forget to go every EVERY answer explanation, even if you got a particular question right. These is some solid gold in those explanations.
