So I fell off the bandwagon because life got crazy and am way behind on where I wanted to be with getting my BALS (TESU) done. I'm not 100% sure if I'll take all these CLEPs but I started the courses on Modern States for all of them - or registered anyway - and am hoping to at least do a couple to cut down on classes I'm going to take through Shmoop. Life is still crazy and going to get a little more chaotic here soon so my degree is still going to take longer to get than I want, but if I can manage my time effectively I'd really like some advice from those who have taken these tests. From easiest for those with prior knowledge to hardest and needing a bunch of additional studying, could I hear some feedback and/or a ranking on these CLEPs? First one being the easiest, last one being the hardest if you rank them.
American Government
American Literature
Analysis & Interpretation of Literature
English Literature
Thanks!

A&I Lit is the easiest CLEP out of all four, and I'd suggest the following order (although the ease of American vs. English Lit depends on your familiarity with both):
Analysis & Interpretation of Literature
American Literature
English Literature
American Government doesn't have any overlap with the others, so it can be taken whenever as it doesn't build on Literature. I'd suggest Saylor's Intro to Comparative Politics in place of Amer Gov CLEP; more on that here...

Hmmm, good point on less jargon and bias. I'll look into Saylor's course, thanks for the alternative idea!
