I just had to do a factory restore for a friend's Dell......I called them to purchase a restore CD which cost about $15-20, and they try to sell me over $180 worth of stuff I did not need. Make a back-up copy of your restore files, because my friend's restore files were lost/corrupted, and this seems to be common with new no disk required recovery options.
Great tip; will do, thanks!!

If I am not mistaken all of the dsst exams are multiple choice only except for technical writing and public speaking. For the clep english composition exams there is one with essay and one without. You will need to consult with your school to find out if essay is required.
This is the link to the astronomy exam feedback:

I dont know about public speaking, but technical writing is a Multiple-choice exam. However, at the end of the test there is an essay question, and depending on the school you will need to do it or not. Excelsior does not need the essay to give you credit for Technical Writing.
