I'm considering taking the Natural Sciences CLEP next week, in addition to the Biology CLEP (perhaps in a week or two). After reading the exam-specific sections in the forums, I found that many people recommended taking the Bio. CLEP first, then the NS, which, of course, would also give one 12 credits besides helping to prep for each other. Nonetheless, I want to make sure that neither one will be refused (I'm applied to Charter Oak State College for a Liberal Arts degree, most likely in English and History).
If I took both, would one of the two run the risk of not being counted (i.e., too many science credits, or one test being too similar to the other)?
I've also taken the Computer Apps and Info. Systems CLEP, and want to make sure there's no science requirement conflict there.

you should ask your Charter Oak advisor, but doubt that you will have any trouble using both. (sweet!)

I have a similar question:
If I'm choosing history for a depth requirement or major (still can't decide), does the CLEP Soc Science & History exam count toward that? If so, will it duplicate credit from other history classes, such as Western Civ I & II?
Thanks

For TESC, there are only 3 exams that duplicate credit. They are:
CLEP Human Growth Development with DSST Lifespan development
CLEP Intro Computer with DSST Intro Computer (sorry, those are probably not the right titles)
CLEP College Algebra with DSST College Algebra
Everything else counts at face value.
