Does PennFoster Financial Mgt course fill in for TESC Principles of Finance??
#1
I'm looking up ace accredited courses on Acenet and ICS-0152 (Financial Management) looks like it would substitute for the Principles of Finance slot on my TESC BSBA. If anyone has made this substitution pleas let me know.

Last I heard, that course from PF wasn't ACE approved.

In May I took PennFoster's Financial Management - ACE course # ICS-0152 which met TESC's FIN-301 Principles of Finance.

I took it last year and it worked for me. Check the ACE website for details though. Do not trust what PF reps tell you about ACE recommendations.

Oh, I guess I was thinking of a different PF finance course.

I suspect you are thinking of the PF "Principles of Finance" which is retired. The Financial Management does cover Principles of Finance at TESC. At least, according to my advisor.

how long did it take you to get through that course (financial management) from pennfoster? Just curious how it stacks up to the difficulty level of Straighterline courses. Im currently taking Accounting I and it's riduculously easy

I completed the class in 3 evenings after working all day. It took almost 1 week to get my final exam graded. Of course, I had spent quite a bit of time studying for the CLEP (or was in DSST) for Principles of Finance. I decided I didn't want to risk a failure on the test so I took the PF course. It was a good choice for me. Also, I had just been through Accounting I and II and Macro and Microeconomics with SL. So you could say that my head was full of Finance-related info.
