Any advice on Business Law II exam?
#1
Hi guys,

I plan on trying to CLEP Business Law II. Under the CLEP section, I only see Business Law. Does this account for both I and II? And does anyone have any advice in preparing for this exam?

I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks!

Hey there,

Business Law II is actually a DSST (or DANTES), not a CLEP. You can find the official fact sheet for the exam here:

http://www.getcollegecredit.com/download...w%20II.pdf

As for advice to pass - Use the IC specific feedback thread. It will help out immensely with the suggested resources.

Also have a downloadable study guide if you want it. Sent you a PM with the link.

The Barron's Business Review - Business Law book is supposed to cover both the CLEP Intro to Business Law and the DSST Business Law II tests pretty well. For the Business Law II exam, one of the Forum Members, Older Student, advises to take the Exam Outline provided by DSST and map the outline to the contents of the book to know what portions to focus on.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.

Bachelor of Science in PsychoRabbitology degree
Master of Education with a specialty in Rabbit-specific destructive munitions (or eLearning & Technology, I forget which)
Doctor of Philosophy in Wile E. Leadership with an area of specialty in Acme Mind Expansion - 2017 Hopefully

The DSST Business Law 11 exam is a different animal than the CLEP Business Law 1. As noted in previous posts, the Barron Business Law book is critical. I would also strongly suggest you obtain a copy of the REA Essentials Business Law 11 book. (Small green colored book.) It's only 234 pages and a fairly quick read.

Best wishes to you.

I'll third this. I even used an older version of Barron's I found cheap on eBay, and it was still enough.
