as I've mentioned above. COSC seems like the better option, life can throw a lot of curve balls and if I don't complete the WGU in one term it might end up costing a lot more. I'll look that thread and onlinedegree, thanks for the links.
One thing that didn't occur to me until I already completed my TESU degree is that attending WGU also means you could get financial aid, where you generally won't qualify at TESU or COSC since you won't be taking enough courses to meet the minimum requirements. This may not be valuable to you, but I know it could be a dealbreaker for some folks.
I did a bit of reading now and did not even consider financial aid. That can be very valuable at the moment, guess I'll consider WGU again.

Do the free online courses from TEEX and Sophia to get used to online learning, and the WGU courses are relatively easy.
Do they(WGU) accept TEEX credit?

You just asked this same question in another thread yesterday and quigongene indicated that they were accepted.
As a general rule, WGU has an open credit transfer policy, so they accept most ACE recommended credits except Shmoop courses. WGU even accepts NA college credits, which the big 3 do not. Well, Excelsior will accept "some" NA credits, but I'm not sure how many or how they are evaluated.
However, being accepted doesn't mean they will apply to your degree program. WGU doesn't have a lot of GenEd's, so it helps to have a pretty good idea of the courses your program requires in order to find the right courses to transfer in to meet those requirements.

I had applied for TESU and awaiting for result.
Meantime I have started taking courses which is accepted in both the colleges.

I passed Intro to Sociology CLEP this weekend with a 58 score. I didn't like the subject too much, but at least it's done. Quick questing for my next CLEP:
The physical science (chem, geo, phys, Astron) requirement on the WGU degree plan, I only see the Natural sciences and Chemistry on Modern states, no geology or astronomy. Can I do the natural sciences course to satisfy this requirement?
Also, these other 2 courses with slightly off degree plan names that I've chosen are correct?:
Degree plan - Survey of US History - CLEP: History of the United States 1
Degree plan - Intro to Humanities(lit, VPA, Music, Theater, Philos, Ethics, Religion) - CLEP - Humanities

I took the Astronomy DSST to get around the natural sciences requirement at WGU.

There is no Geology or Astronomy CLEP exam, which is why you won't find those on MS.
I don't think Natural Science counts as a physical science. You can either do Chemistry, or you can switch to another course provider for that requirement.

I myself have been debating back and forth for several months now which school would be ideal, WGU vs COSC. Charter Oak gives you more freedom as far as credit sources go, while WGU allows financial aid. Was heavily leaning toward WGU for a long time because of the FA factor, but allvia makes a great point about COSC giving you more freedom and excepting NCCRS credits. Plus considering how quickly elbebopkid knocked out that degree...

I don't see WGU offering less freedom than the big 3. Yes, the big 3 accept NCCRS while WGU doesn't, but that is a tiny percentage of credits. Instead of accepting NCCRS they accept NA college credits, which is a much larger pool. They also accept a ton of industry certifications for credit.
Speed wise, the big 3 don't hold a candle to WGU. The speed that you can complete a degree will be comparable between any of the big 3 since you are limited by how quickly you can get through the required 12-week course(s) you take directly from them. The majority of your credits will likely come from ACE recommended providers (plus any old college credits you bring with you) so the speed won't vary between target colleges. The next big delay with the big 3 is that you have to wait until the next graduation cycle before you officially receive your degree. Between the 12-week capstone and waiting months to graduate, that added nearly 6 months to my TESU degree.
You can finish at WGU faster than any of the big 3. Yes, you can only transfer in 90 credits to start, and they don't accept NCCRS credits, but you also don't have to take mandatory 12-week courses or wait for months after finishing your last course to receive your degree. Plus most WGU undergrad courses take between a day and a couple of weeks to complete. Many people appear to be able to get through the WGU undergrad courses as quickly as they could get through a comparable course on StraighterLine or Study.com. So it is almost the same as taking all the courses via SL or SDC in terms of speed. Heck, there are plenty of folks who claim to have completed an entire WGU undergrad degree in 6 months or less without using SL or SDC.

Wow Merlin, hell of a reply! Thank you! In a single post, you have completely convinced me to quit flip flopping and just stick with WGU. Now I have to ask, where have you seen people graduate from WGU without SL or SDC credits? What credits do they use? CLEP? DSST?
