Degree completion with 77 credits earned

I figured that, but I like the university aspect of TESU.

In a liberal studies program, hardly any of your culinary and hospitality courses will fall into the major. COSC's BA/BS in General Studies with a concentration in Individualized Studies will probably make the best use of your credits. If you want a more useful degree, as I said previously, you could opt for TESU's BSBA with a learner-designed concentration in hospitality management...that is if TESU won't tell you that the degree is too much like the BSPS with a similar concentration.

The BSPS and BSBA LDAS will pose problems for you because you'll need upper level credits in hospitality/culinary arts that aren't easy to find cheaply.

For TESU's BSPS, your hospitality/culinary arts credits can be used without having to have UL credits there. You can get your UL credits in the Professional Career Track (5 of the following: Business Ethics, Prin of Sales, Intro to Marketing, Negotiations, Managerial Comm, International Mgmt and Digital Marketing will all count as UL).

I don't see anywhere on their website where they allow the LDAS any longer. Do you know if they still offer this (as opposed to the BSPS now)?

Thank you. I will be looking at COSC as well. It's worth a couple of application fees to find the best fit.

I don't see the BSBA LDAS, but they still have the BA/BS LDAS. Those will be similar to COSC's individualized studies program, except TESU is pickier about creating an area of study that is similar to a degree they already offer.

Thanks. I couldn't find it.

I agree then, that this will be a harder one to fulfill than the BALS. With all of the LL credits the OP already has, I'm just not seeing where he/she could get the UL credits needed to complete the degree.

And TESU is still pickier about the GE credits than COSC is.

COSC allows for multiple subjects in the individualized studies program. I believe the LDAS is the same. There used to be an LDAS example that combined environmental science with something else. If you read the LDAS page, it says this option is for those with cross-disciplinary knowledge.

Someone here in the forum brought my attention to Ashford University. They're not quite as flexible as the Big 3, but seem to be pretty good about accredited transfer credits, ACE, CLEP, etc. You can transfer up to 90 credits toward a bachelors degree. I don't know what they'd transfer your courses in as -- possibly mostly electives -- but they do have a degree program in Service Management with a specialization in Hospitality.

https://www.ashford.edu/online-degrees/b...management

And they've been pretty good about answering questions for me, and will do a tentative pre-evaluation of your credits if you have an unofficial transcript you can send over.
