Commitments: Mom of two, only one at home atm - teen she's 15 she can tuck herself in lol other than that single stay-at-home mom working on school.
Dedicated time to study: as much as needed
Tuition assistance and reimbursement: Full Financial Aid

(Financial Aid hiccup because of transfer from one school to the next.) So, I need to wait till Jan. to enroll)

I feel totally lost, I have credits I have my English 121 now since I was missing it and I did apply for my PierPoint Bog as well.
I'm not good at math (at all; I detest it like the plague; I would rather write 50 essays than do math), and writing for these English classes has been pretty much torture. I enrolled at UPMI, thinking... eh, great quizzes and such, but then I guess they changed to Brightspace? I've tried Excelsior, but holy moly, let's not get into that, and WGU only transferred 18 credits over, and they said I needed much more credits than what I earned on Sophia and at my BM school.
Thanks for everyone's help beforehand!

@Cocolisa1, Welcome to the board, that's an awesome post with practically all the info I look for in an introduction post! UMPI is your best bet as you've got the language and science plus lab, you can decide to go for a minor or two with the UMPI BLS such as Management, MIS, or PM. You have about 100 credits and UMPI will take only 90 into the degree and place the remainder outside the degree requirements.

Essentially... You'll need to take 30 credits for residency purposes and also to complete the minor or two of choice. Since you applied and enrolled, did you get an evaluation already? You can link us to your google/one drive for the evaluation, just make sure to remove any personal details before you make the file viewable/non-editable, we can review what is remaining for the degree and provide you recommendations.

This was my initial intended choice: Phycology. After speaking to Jessica, I settled for a BLS with a minor in Phycology, but that's also 20–24 credits for that minor. They had me in English 2 aka Communications and American History, which I finished in one sitting. But then  had to disenroll do to the Fin Aid being idiotic. So there isn't another school that's competency-based that won't require so much writing lol ((just asking Big Grin))   thank you!

If you're okay with a DEAC-accredited NA religious degree, NationsU could work for you. They're $450 for every 3 months and you have to find your own in-person proctor. The first quarter/3 months would be free https://nationsu.edu/tuition-policy/ , then you'd have to pay after that. They don't otherwise have/accept financial aid. When they were more popular on this forum, some students were able to obtain one of their degrees in about 6 months.

A BRS degree isn't for everyone, but if it works for you then it's certainly worth applying to see what they say.

Actually, if you're looking to complete the BA Psychology, you're not that far off with 18 required courses left, you can follow the degree plan template to drop that down to exactly 10 required classes at UMPI to finish off with a BA Psych major vs a BLS with Psych minor. Here is the wiki detailing the remaining credits, also review the Gen Ed requirements: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...egree_Plan
