I graduated with the associates in biology in 2016. What credits do you already have?

I have one, although it's not as helpful as it could be (I haven't researched to see where you can get all of the courses). But if you combine it with bjcheung77 and sanantone, I think you can get a good plan for yourself.
The main problem (I think) you're going to have is 18cr of UL in the AOS. Many of the required courses are LL, so trying to find UL ones is a little trickier. Luckily, SL/Saylor/Study.com Microbiology is considered UL at TESU, as is Study.com's Pathophysiology, although they've discussed changing the Study.com courses down to LL after 12/31.
APU offers a NatSci degree with a concentration in Bio, and TESU has an UL bio course as well.

APUS will be one of the cheaper places to get UL credit. I searched through many schools, and there aren't many options under $800.
Since the time I put that plan together, I confirmed that TESU will accept UC Berkeley's for-credit courses. UC San Diego has mostly professional development courses.

Considering that TESU offers a Bio degree, it's surprising that they don't offer enough UL courses to get your AOS done.
APU is probably the best bet then, they have quite a few (look under the degree in Natural Sciences, then scroll down to Biology concentration). I also like their 8-week format courses.

Do you know if you can take individual courses and then have them transfer to TESU or would you recommend taking your whole degree with APU?
You can take individual courses at APUS and transfer them. If you decide to complete your entire degree at APUS, there are two things to keep in mind.
1. They do not offer a biology degree. They offer a natural science degree with a concentration in biology.
2. APUS only allows up to 30 non-traditional credits. Non-traditional credits include any credits that do not come from an accredited college i.e. CLEP, DSST, and ACE.

Perfect. Would you know if individual courses are cheaper than taking degree granted courses or are they the same price?
