Following the plans on the Wiki gets you there 100% of the way:

Bless you!!!! I have used that plan. The way they used my transfer credits was confusing to me which is why I had that question. I don't want to take any courses I don't need. Here's a link to my degree plan progress from UMPI https://drive.google.com/file/d/1swbU02w...sp=sharing. Can you look at it and see if you think I'm correct in my assessment of the courses I need to take through Sophia? I would be so appreciative!

Your planned courses look good and match almost exactly what my friend took - they took both Environmental Science and Chemistry, as they wanted to make sure to get up to 90 credits transferred in. They took a couple of extra classes at UMPI to add a minor.

You don't need both College Math and Stats for the 3A and 3B, since either fulfills both requirements, but you can take both to get to your max transfer in - by my count, you would want 7 classes from Sophia for 21 credits, but currently have 3 or 4 planned - add a couple of more for electives.

You are the BEST! Thank you!!! I already transferred 79 credits, 120 needed to graduate so that leaves 41. If I take 4 courses at Sophia then I've maxed out my transfer credits and completed my Gen Ed requirements leaving 30 credits to take at UMPI. I know 21 of those are History courses for my major which leaves 9 electives I will need to take at UMPI to meet my residency requirement. Is that how you see it, too? Did I miss something?

You're right, my math was off! 79 + 12 puts you at 91.

If you're looking for the quicker history classes:

HTY 400, HTY 454, HTY 456, HTY 439, HTY 350 OR HTY 401
HTY 439 has 3 milestones (fewest) and the final.

HTY 370 (ARAB), HTY 370 (NATIVE), OR HTY 377
HTY 370 ARAB has 2 milestones and the final and the professor is a fast grader.

HTY 301 The professor (Sebold) likes greater length than the minimum, but is a quick grader.

UL History Electives
HTY 301, 318 and 370 (Native) are all with Sebold.
HTY 489 is really short

This is so helpful! I will definitely take these courses. Thank you!

Calculations seem to be correct, get the gen eds from Sophia.org and register for the classes you need for residency purposes...

I got an email back this morning with my degree plan progress in a different format which actually was easier to understand.

Here's a link to the degree plan progress I received from Chelsey this morning:

PLEASE NOTE: At the top, she has
Number of Courses Remaining: 6 Major + 8 Electives = 14 Total Courses Remaining
But at the bottom under the History Concentration: 48 hours, I have completed all but 3 courses in UL requirements plus I will need another courses to satisfy the residency requirements of 4 UL in my major at UMPI. So, to me that is 4 UL History courses needed to complete the History Concentration & Residency Requirements for my major. Then I would need 6 electives after transferring 12 credits from Sophia for the Gen Ed and one elective.

Here's the email I sent her in response:

"I have taken the following courses through Sophia. I am finishing the last two this week. When the time is appropriate, I will transfer those to UMPI.

2D ART 108 - Visual Communications at Sophia
3A MAT 101 - Intro to College Math at Sophia
      3D ENV 110 - Chemistry
Gen Elective - Conflict Resolution at Sophia

12 credits/4 courses transferred from Sophia

      Courses remaining per attachment:

History Courses for major needed 4 courses/12 credits (9 UL credits) and the courses at UMPI I would like to take to satisfy the requirements:
UL HIstory (United States) HTY 489
UL History (Non-Western) HTY 370 ARAB
UL History (Pre Modern) HTY 301
      History Course HTY 456

*Please verify these courses will satisfy the requirements.*
***I calculate 4 remaining courses for my History Major to satisfy the requirements. Your calculations per the attachment is 6 courses. Please clarify this discrepancy. If I need to take 6, that is fine. But I just don't see how that is the case.***

      General Electives needed:
      18 credits/6 courses
I will decide on these courses at a later date. I would like to start with the History courses needed."

I'm waiting on her response. I also requested to schedule a call for tomorrow. As far as my progress in Sophia, I finished Visual Communications and Intro to College Math this weekend and I'm currently working on Chemistry. I have finished the first module. Then I will do Conflict Resolution. That is all I will need to take there.

Let me know your thoughts and if I miscalculated somehow.

I would love suggestions for easy Gen Electives to complete, too. My goal is to finish all 10 courses in Spring 2. I have Spring Break the first week of the UMPI Spring 2 term and will be working on my UL History Courses around the clock for those 9 days. I'm a permanent substitute at a high school and I have down time a lot of days when I can work on my courses. I know it will be challenging to finish in one term. My principal wants to hire me as a teacher for next school year and I will need my degree by August in order to be hired. This is the reason for the urgency.

Thanks for all your help. I am SO GLAD you suggested I look into UMPI!

Some of the political science courses are really short at UMPI.

Here are a couple:

POS 335 Modern Political Thought (2 milestones)
POS 211 Intro to Political Thought (3 milestones)
POS 301 European Gov & European Union (2 milestones)
POS 343 Marxism (3 milestones)

Folks have reported that MAT 140 Math for business and BUS 200 Computing for Business (MS Office basics) are both also short.
