Yes, you can use depths to also fill the gen ed requirements. With the exception of History and Math, the depths have to be more specific than the broad gen ed categories of Humanities, Social Science and Natural Science.

For instance you could create a depth in History (9 LL and 3UL) this way:
US History I CLEP
US History II CLEP
choose another history exam, like Western Civilization LL, Vietnam War LL, or Soviet Union UL (adding another UL credit here could be helpful overall)
