This month, Davar Academy aka Tor College Credits aka Torah College Credits aka Former Partner of Coopersmith is offering the Intro to Accounting exam for $20. I kind of wish they'd picked something that wasn't offered by Saylor. With the proctored exam fee, the total cost at Davar will be $35. Financial Accounting can be completed with Saylor for $25.

Im searching for Davar/Tor on ACE registry and its producing no results. Of course we wouldn't be mentioning it here if it wasn't an org we could get credits from so what am I doing wrong?

It is NCCRS recommended which is similar to ACE. There is no transcript service though. A score report is sent by the organization directly to the school.

I THINK (not 100% certain here) that it's not a course, per se, but some materials to study for an exam. So not like SL or Study.com or one of those.

I did not find Accounting I very math-y at all. Mostly, they use very simple math (rounded numbers like 100 or 1000 or 5000) so that math isn't what's stopping you from learning the concepts. It's also very simple math - addition, subtraction - because again, you're learning concepts like a balance sheet - what's on it, why, then adding everything up. Honestly, I don't even think I needed to memorize a formula harder than Assets = Liabilities + Owner's Equity.
Don't let math be the thing that stops you from learning accounting, because especially for Accounting I, that shouldn't be an issue.

This is terrific intel! I'll look into it ASAP...if I can ever get this A&I Clep off my plate (testing center has "computer troubles" so I have to resched, ugh)
