Has anyone taken this test recently? It and Intro to Sociology are what is left to complete my ASN through Excelsior. I am scheduled to do my clinical 5/29/09-5/31/09. I have the Religion test scheduled for this Thursday and I so want to pass since retest time is 6 months!!!!
I really don't want my degree hanging in limbo over either of these tests, so, can anyone give some pointers??? I have read and studied my Intro to World Religions book from college network, using IC flashcards too.....I cannot locate a practice test, anyone know if one is available?
A friend of mine took it raw and got a 370 out of 400 with no study. I am taking it tommorow and ill get back to you. I am taking the electronic version
and I really want to pass.

I'm planning to take this test Wed simply on the hope that EC will be considering it UL soon. If they don't, it will just be 3 more extra uneeded credits. I will report back to give my input.

Hope this helps. It helped me a lot. One of the attachments is from an earlier post. I also used a couple of World Religion web sites. I studied for 2 weeks and made 420.

I just rechecked the Excelsior Catalog Credit by Examination Section/DSST Standard Subject Tests(pg. 25) It states Intro to World Religions is an Upper Level exam. Am I wrong? Hope not, as I was planning on eventually taking this exam for 3 upper level credits.

Hi SuZQ2! This is an old thread from 2009. Yes, World Religion DSST was changed to upper-level at EC in 2011. Here are more details on 4 new UL exams:
