Hey folks,
I have a friend that I'm trying to help. Her kids are grown and she's feeling somewhat directionless now. She has expressed feelings of frustration and stupidity that her kids and husband have a degree but she doesn't. She has some health issues that are discouraging her from attempting a college degree--and she can't even decide what she'd want a degree in if she got one. She's feeling overwhelmed and demotivated about the whole topic.
Are there some distance ed certificate-level programs that she could look into so that she could earn a credential (and possibly get a job with it) without getting an actual degree?
Thanks!
