DSSTs accepted?
#1
I just wanted to confirm that DSST exams are accepted for credit toward the Pierpont degree.
Their catalog mentions DSST but there is no chart or equivalencies listed.

My son wanted an emphasis in history.
He has completed:
CLEP History of the United States 1 & 2
CLEP Western Civilization 1 & 2
DSST Civil War & Reconstruction

He also completed:
DSST Advanced English
DSST World Religions

Trying to make sure he will have everything he needs.

Yes, Pierpont accepts DSST. Most of the exams are only given free elective credit though. Use parchment to send your transcript. While my transfer credits are still being evaluated, DSST was one of the first things they looked at for me. Here's what showed up under DSST on my transcript:

Free electives (“FREL 1999”) can still count toward area of emphasis for the Board of Governors program.

Oops, was too quick to go, hmm, their catalog or site doesn't list DANTES or DSST, but should take them: https://catalog.pierpont.edu/content.php...nto=search
