21035 is in Maryland. What is the closest city to you?
The institution search function on the getcollegecredit site has been changed, but the locations have not necessarily been updated. It still lists Montgomery College as a DSST site, which has not been the case for years! If you live near a branch of Strayer University, give them a call. It looks like every campus offers DSST testing.

BSLS Excelsior College, conferred 9-09 started MS in Instructional Design program, Spring 2010 April 4 2009 through July 6 2009: 1 GRE subject exam + 1 Penn Foster credit + 11 DANTES exams = 61 credits. Average per-credit cost = $23.44. "Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending." (Maria Robinson)

Here's the link to the DSST site search feature for a testing center:
DSST - GetCollegeCredit.com But as perrik said, the list may or may not be accurate. I had to change centers once and called several of the places DSST listed as centers, only to find that they no longer offered testing services. But hey, ya gotta start somewhere.

I would imagine you could get flexible testing dates through one of the VCCS schools (for example TCC will allow you to test at any time) or most universities would allow some level of testing, for example ODU gives Dantes tests 1-2 times a month.
I m edumakated thanx to distunce lerning.
