- Has anyone heard details of DANTES being no longer available to civilians via the Prometric platform? Today my DS was testing and saw a notice denying civilian and non-eligible military candidates. I see no additional published information. I know there've been several changes with Peterson's and with the DoD, but I wasn't aware of a civilian restriction. I welcome any wisdom or advice. Thanx!

DANTES is a military program. It provides planning and reimbursement for non-traditional education programs for military service members. DSST is the name of the exam that was bought by Prometric; it's a civilian program that the military provides reimbursement for if you're in the military.

Thanks so much for the clarification. The admins at the Center seem less clear about the details and default to refusal. Ugh.
Thanks again for your response.
