I have the IC flashcards that i got from a friend and are studying those. They are the micro flashcards though and I hear it is best to take the macro test before the micro. Just wondering how similar these two tests are and if I study hard for macro can i just use the Peterson tests to get myself set for micro? Thanks!

Macro first.
Macro overlaps somewhat into micro.
Study for micro.

I took macro online at my local technical school, got an A, but never truly understood it enough to feel comfortable talking economics with somebody.
I used the REA book, IC and passed the micro CLEP with a 54. there was some overlap (supply/demand) and I probably wouldn't have passed had I not taken macro as a regular class.
good luck!

Micro covers a lot of ground that is completely different from macro. Taking macro first helps you to take advantage of what overlap there is. If you don't study for micro, you will most likely have a panic attack during the exam, and I cannot conceive of how you could possibly pass.
