I just took this test maybe 20 minutes ago. It was much harder than I thought it was going to be. While the instacert study guide helped a lot, there was still some information on there that was not covered by instacert. I made sure I made a good "educated" guess and answered every question I had never seen before to the best of my knowledge. All I can say is that I hope I passed since I will not get my test results back for 3 weeks. I was going to try to take the DSST - Statistics test in a couple of weeks but I am not so sure now. I think I will wait to see if I passed this test. Who knows...

Is this the same exam as the CLEP Human Growth & Development? If so, the IC cards and the REA book were great for that. If you really think that you might have missed the mark on this exam....maybe jump in and take HGD while you still have the info in your head.
ALEKS.com has the Stats courses for cheap and they are self paced so that might be a better way to go than taking it as an exam. Especially if you are feeling a bit leary about jumping back into the testing chair again so quick.

I got my test results back within 3 weeks and I passed the exam. I really was not sure if I had or not but I am so happy that I passed. They really need to get the test online since it is torture to wait so long for the results. I was stressed out for 3 weeks for nothing. Oh well....I am happy now!

Congrats on passing! I know you are relieved! Are you military? Is that why you had to take a paper test? I'm getting ready to take this exam and thought it was computerized. I would take the CLEP HG&D, but I really would prefer to get a letter grade instead of just a pass, so that is why I was going with DSST. But I would go nuts waiting for 3 weeks, especially after waiting 6 months for my UExcel grade. I just need instant gratification now...at least for a little while! Do you have any suggestions on info to add to the IC flashcards to be better prepared? I have taken EC Foundations of Gerontology and the UExcel Intro to Psych and CLEP Intro to Sociology. I was hoping this would be a good foundation coupled with the IC. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated since I need to take this in the next few weeks. Thanks!
