Yes, there are a few institutions with the same name for Horizons University. The one in France is 'legit'... They have programmatic, secondary accreditation for business as well. It really depends on how this works for the student, if their learning system is easy to use, how they grade assessments and assignments, etc. I've seen their website, online info, pdf brochures and corresponding websites before.

Yes, there are many schools that have very similar names, even identical ones with the exact name, most of them are legit, some are not. Horizons University is more expensive than the other two, and there is another DBA offering from CASS Europe, it's slightly more expensive than Horizons University partnership. Link: https://iibmindia.in/cass-europe/ Another offering from EIASM, other than the DBA you've linked, is their New MS Data Science, they have two concentrations or specializations, Data Analytics & Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, which can be had for $2200 USD/180,000 INR (discount from 400,000INR plus tax). This one; https://www.huparis.edu.eu/ <<= not approved in France by the Higher education Ministry.
So they can not award Academic degrees.. As you are from India make inquieries about the situation about DBA in India and the University Grants Commission guidelines if you intend to use it in India.

If you do not care for those then you might as well not look for government approved degrees. From what i know DBA's of any kind are not accepted on the labor market in India they are mostly looked as expensive foreign courses.. most of the time it is advertised and promised to prospect's how you would get a salary spike cause of them but it never bares fruition. (cause it would not be legal) Safest way is always look for your current working/firm to cofinance and let the HR do their thing. |
