I was wondering why some DANTEs have different scoring systems. According to the DANTE Score Report, the exam scale ranges from 20 to 80.
But I've taken some DANTEs where I end up getting a score with triple digits, like 467. So I don't know what standard to measure my triple digit score against.
If anyone can illuminate me on this, I'd appreciate it

Dantes exams that have been "refreshed" (revised) in 2008 or later are given scaled scores with the scale set at 200 to 500. The ACE-recommended passing score for all of these exams is 400.
Dantes exams which have not been refreshed in the past two years are given scaled scores with the scale set at 20 to 80. The ACE-recommended passing score differs from test to test, mostly in the mid- to high-40's.
Prometric has also calculated B-equivalent scores for each of their exams. See the following for a full list of cut scores:

My son just took Introduction to Business with a score of 436. In reviewing the charts I see 400 is a "C" so to speak which is passing (very important!
) & 420 is "B", so I was just wondering what a 436 might be? At this point it doesn't matter much since it was a pass but sometimes my guys (generically for both genders) would like to know a little more than "passed".
Any thoughts are appreciated.
