Cyber security TEEX question
#1
It was my understanding that there were 3 ACE courses in cyber security. In the process of signing up for TEEX they want to know what government agency we belong to. We don’t belong to any government agency so we are wondering if there is a work around that doesn’t mean telling lies. We are only associate members of POAG but that’s as close we are to any law enforcement. any pointers would be helpful in getting the cyber security part of the degree started thanks

I was also starting this class and setting up an account today. One of the options on the pull down menu applied to me "civic/community volunteer". I can't remember all of the screens and questions. I only filled in what was in required boxes and use options in pull down that worked. Another hint with those courses that I've read about is signing up for each course individually instead of a bundle. Then you are eligible for each course for 11 credits total (and one is upper level). That happens in the way you ask ACE to evaluate. Use the AWR course codes on ACE instead of the CYB prefix. It took me some time yesterday on ACE site to have the aha moment on those differences , but they are there.

updating my answer. This morning with my second course registration, my options on the required list had a "private sector" option. I picked that. It's true about me. It's one of the options given.
