Finished a math section, completed the review for that same objective, then when going back to Review for another item, found it was still asking me to review the completed objective!!

Look in the pie sections. If that section does not say 100% then it is not completed.
Otherwise it might mean you are done with that section but not passed mastered it. Maybe, Im just saying without being there. PeteDude Wrote:Finished a math section, completed the review for that same objective, then when going back to Review for another item, found it was still asking me to review the completed objective!!That happened to me once too. idk for sure but maybe it meant the system thought I got too many wrong in that section? When it happened it only asked a few more questions then it let me more on to a different section. I also did what nj said, I clicked "Report" at the top of the student homepage. That brings up the PIE in addition to a full breakdown (topic by topic) of what ALEKS says you 'can do' and what you 'need to learn'.

Hi (AGAIN!!) fellow degree seekers!
At the risk of being a real pest, I have one last ACE/ALEKS question to ask our forum please. Hopefully this will be the end of my postings on this famous thread......I registered for ACE but I'm befuddled b/c it didn't ask me for any payment.  Do they wait and ask for payment when the credits are put on your ACE transcript? Or maybe they request payment when you tell ACE to send the transcript to your college?? It just worries me that I haven't paid ACE anything. Don't want to mess this up b/c I'll crack if I have to do aleks stats again. - I'm sure any other math phobes here can relate. Last question. My ACE credit request now says "APPROVED - SUBMITTED TO ACE FOR PROCESSING." I have printed out and also saved a word doc as proof of reaching 70% on the assessment. Does anyone know if it's safe to cancel my subscription to ALEKS now that ACE says "approved, submitted to ace for processing"?  I only ask I'm billed on the 1st (tomorrow) so I'd love to cancel since I'll be paying for a month that I won't use. Grateful for any replies. If nobody knows I'll post the answers -for future forum members- as soon as ACE returns my email. Jason

Or maybe they request payment when you tell ACE to send the transcript to your college?? Yes, ACE is free. Once you want an official transcript sent somewhere, ACE will charge you $40 for that. It just worries me that I haven't paid ACE anything. Don't want to mess this up b/c I'll crack if I have to do aleks stats again. - I'm sure any other math phobes here can relate. Last question. People here will tell you yes, but you couldn't pay me a million dollars to cancel until it is ON THE ACE TRANSCRIPT in black and white no way no how... it might take about 3 days, but it's totally your call. If there is a processing glitch, and you closed your account- you're doing stats again baby Grateful for any replies. If nobody knows I'll post the answers -for future forum members- as soon as ACE returns my email. Jason And Jason, posting is what you are suposed to do here! Please don't stop!

I would have to agree with cook in this sense. If you are closing out the account just wait till ace approves. Even though they send it over they might have a question again for Aleks and there will be nothing there.
And you are not a pest Im a pest have you seen all my posts? hilarious Congrats on passing it. And on paying ace you only pay to send the transcripts. To open an account and register is free. The first $40.00 is for the transfer of 2 reports and registration of transcripts or something like that. It will be $15.00 for each transcript after which. I just paid another 15 today ![]() Jason86 Wrote:Hi (AGAIN!!) fellow degree seekers!

Thank you Cook and nj! Decided not to be 'penny wise and pound foolish'. I'll cancel ALEKS when I have the transcribed credit in my hot little hands.

Can anyone tell me which math EC will accept to satisfy the math requirement for a Business Major, is it ALEKS-0003 or ALEKS-0005?
I'm currently doing 0003 and don't want to go to far with it if EC will not accept. I am not currently enrolled so I'm not sure if EC would answer the question for me. Thanks for your help!

I signed up for ALEKS Beginning Algebra last night, thanks to a tip from Alleycat. So far I'm liking it - which says a lot since I normally hate math with every fiber of my being. This appears to be quite doable at a fraction of the cost I thought this requirement would take. Honestly, I thought I was going to have to hire a tutor so I could get past the CLEP. Now I can do ALEKS at my own pace while working on other CLEPs and should still finish by next summer!!!
