Getting ready to sign up daughter for this screaming great deal. No syllabus is listed on the site.. wondering if anyone is already signed up that can share a glimpse of what the course looks like.

Thank you so much!!! I am so (pissed) disappointed that we did not know of this sooner. Daughter is slugging thru College Algebra and Chemistry online with APU at $900 a pop. This would have been a much better $$ option since she does not need the grade just the credit.
The English 101 will be fast and easy for anyone who has already had writing intensive courses or is comfortable with writting some essays. Otherwise it is just an online class that has some self paced, and self graded (!!!) assignments with some online electronically graded modules.
From the Syllabus ---- All writing projects will be self-assessed using guided rubrics. Leading up to the final draft submission and self-assessment, you will participate in a variety of process-oriented tasks including inventional activities, self- and peer-review, and revision activities (these will be tied to your participation grade). Staff will not provided individualized feedback and grades on writing projects
UPDATE... Sophia English Comp 1 was not too horrible. No waiting for each assignment before submitting the next one so easy to jam out the essays if that is your thing. It is our daughters who needed to just get this credit done. CLEP was not an option since no test centers are open. The last essay is a bit longer Argumentive 4 -6 pager so that will take a few days but she only needs to pass not score an A. On to English Comp 2 which is MUCH more time intensive and wishing that CLEP would open up. Daughter is also doing History via Sophia which seems like a win and pretty straightforward.
