From China

China's Ministry of Education will measure whether a degree is online or on campus based on your immigration records, student visa, and passport entry/exit stamps.

In other words, if I can somehow get a student visa for my target country, I can also study online in my target country, provided that the word online does not appear on my diploma or transcript.

Of course, there is a risk, and at some point the Chinese Ministry of Education will check the official website of the school, or even contact the school to verify that the degree is online.

You may want to consider the International University of Applied Sciences, they have online degrees, where the last year can be taken in campus in Germany: https://www.iu.org/application/mm/?fnref...m=referral (referral link, if you use it you get a month of free tuition and I get 100 Euros if you select Yes to referred)

Their degrees never state they are online and are well regarded https://www.iu.org/my-university/on-campus/berlin/ https://www.iu.org/my-university/forms-documents/

Disclaimer: I study there right now, but I´m planning moving elsewhere as they have synchronous classes and can be disturbing for people working or in a very different time zone.

Another problem with IU is that they can be non-responsive to students who want to sign up. Trying to get enrolled is not easy. We've had students incounter such issues with them in the past.

@elcastor21, what is their tuition like now? A few months ago/last year, they had a 50% or something off, and the previous year they had up to 80% off what it is now. How are their response times too? There was a student or two that had no response for a few weeks to months just to get their applications in and start the process...

Their normal tuition is 370EUR for BS Computer Science, but I got 50% off so I pay 185EUR(230-240 USD after bank transfer fees and currency conversion). For enrolling it was very straightforward and easy, but had troubles with Proctoring (they use examity for all exams) and they are very unresponsive for that (got a Zero in Calculus and Linear Algebra because a dog barked outside the place, they through he was giving me answers somehow or something...)
