Cornerstone Waiver at TESU
#1
I've heard this waiver no longer exists but I have a question. I'm working on a BSBA and the cornerstone was waived on my BSBA evaluation when I first enrolled. I've realized today that all the credits I have would apply to an ASBA and the only thing missing is the cornerstone. Is there any chance they would excuse this so I could have both degrees at completion, or am I out of luck? I know the BS overrides the AS but it is still something I'd like to have if there was no additional fee. Thanks for your time!

I would think you'd be OK and wouldn't have to take the cornerstone. Have advising add the ASBA alongside the BSBA. There's no obligation to actually get it.

You can do this. I am also working on the BSBA and had a grandfathered cornerstone waiver from earlier in the year on my account. I recently had TESU add the ASNSM to my plan. I also changed the AOS since the one I signed up with was different than what I decided I wanted to graduate with.

They added the AS degree under the 2018-19 catalog (my BSBA is still under the 2017-2018 catalog) but didn't revoke the cornerstone waiver.
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23

Complete:
MBA (IT Management), 2019, Western Governors University
BSBA (Computer Information Systems), 2019, Thomas Edison State University
ASNSM (Computer Science), 2019, Thomas Edison State University
