Yes, but why do you need a consortium agreement?

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Because the school where she is taking the phlebotomy courses will not use the financial aid for those specific classes. We were told that any phlebotomy classes need to be paid via cash, or use a consortium agreement to pay for the courses.

They probably aren't "college" courses. I doubt COSC will see it any different. With a try I suppose... Good luck.

they are college courses, however the school only offers a certificate in phlebotomy. Since she already has an AS she isn't classified as degree seeking. She needs a CA to receive aid. I was hoping to reduce the course load without taking 6 additional credits.

COSC probably figures that if you aren't at least half time with them, they have no incentive to participate.

do you have a link to a website ?
because most phlebotomy certificates are offered through the school's department of continuing education and are not for credit
I'd be surprised f these were for credit

Sure, they are CLS 151,152, and 153. You can look them up with this link.

They actually are part of other associates degrees that are offered at CSN besides the certificate program. Now had she not have completed her AS/AA she could have done this certificate and the courses would have counted towards the AA/AS.
On a side note, this school offers many different courses for college credit, especially if you want to learn about gambling, or wine tasting.
Example:
GAM 119 Black Jack Dealing
GAM 121 Craps Dealing
GAM 122 Roulette Dealing etc.
I'd like to take the GAM 131 Race and Sportsbook Management course. Getting college credit for learning how to wager sports bets is just wrong in so many ways

I wonder how these would transfer into the Big 3.

I just got an email from COSC. They do not require that any courses are taken through them when using a consortium agreement. So that's the solution. Thank you for your help.
