Confused about timing, enrollment, and tests
#1
Hi all! I'm new here and although I've found a great deal of information, I'm still confused about a couple things:

1) If I want to test out most of my degree at one of the Big 3, do I have to enroll there before taking any CLEP/DSST test? Or, if I start taking some tests now and then enroll with them, will they take those tests into account?

2) Once enrolled, does it matter in which order I take the tests? For example, can I take something like CLEP Management first (a professional business requirement) and then CLEP Humanities (a general education requirement)?

Thanks in advance!

You don't need to enroll first, CLEP and/or DSST will send a transcript to the college of your choice on your request (costs about $20)

There is no order to when you can take tests...but it may help you to group like subject matter together to lighten your study load.

Usually folks around here follow a tried and true path to the degree they are seeking and apply once they are close to finished with the classes for their degree. Once enrolled you can tie up loose ends and graduate. This can, of course, vary depending on your exact aims and needs.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Thank you for the information!

I was looking at Levi's plan for a BSBA and I might follow it very closely. In that case, I believe I can take most of the CLEP/DSST tests, then enroll in TESC, and take the remaining tests, including the TESC courses and TECEP exams.
