Conflicting info from TESU for dual degrees??

You can transfer it in and see where it lands. If it lands in the wrong place, you can then appeal to the registrar or the dean to have it changed. Unfortunately, before the fact, it can be hard to go over advising's head.

Yes, I'm well aware you probably don't want to risk taking the course if it won't fit in. Unfortunately, sometimes we simply CAN'T get the right answer out of advising. That's why we appreciate when someone gets a course transferred in and tells us as it's generally the only way we get the info.

That's correct, and most of the time, moderators such as LevelUP or Rachel83AZ and other senior members would update the WIKI plans to reflect changes... Most of the transfer credits are going to come through as intended, advising also is helpful but sometimes the left and right hands don't confirm things exactly the same way, having said that, the higher ups such as the dean or registrar has the final say.

Yeah, if only it wasn't a $425 dollar class...

I'm fairly confident it'll transfer in as CIS-440 Business Process Management if they already have that on file. BPM is historically a CIS course at most college so it would be an odd change to move it as a OPM course....OPM 420 is supply management which isn't even related to BPM...

Be sure to report back on what happens!

Alas! There is a $5 dollar option! Hopefully Saylor.org class is the savior (amazingly inexpensive to boot!) Link: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid411638

That's awesome, it transferred as what we thought it would, a bit expensive at $425 each, but much cheaper than one class or e-pack at TESU...

So if you take both courses, they only count as one course since they overlap course ID's?

Did someone already check if this works for the BA CS UL requirement?

It counted as two separate course.

It didn't apply to BA CS UL elective unfortunately.

Bleu, are you enrolled in the BACS as well as the BS-CIS then?

I wonder if you or someone else could ask TESU advising if any of the statistics.org courses would come in as UL for either or both degrees?

The x99 equivalency is what they use when they don't have a course that matches closely enough. In that case, you can have multiples that all count.
