Conflicting Info About Courses for BABA PM & IS

Hello everyone!

I am trying to finalize my plan for UMPI’s BABA Project Management & Information Systems but I’ve encountered some conflicting information about a couple courses. If you could help me answer these questions, I would greatly appreciate it. 

1. Which Sophia course would fulfill both the 1C section of the general education curriculum and the COM210 Organizational Communication course for the business administration curriculum? UMPI’s official transfer equivalency database lists Workplace Communication as equivalent to BUS210 Organizational Communication. According to UMPI’s general education page, this course is a cross-listing of COM210. However, the “UMPI BABA Project Management Degree Plan” wiki page says to take Business Communication.
   
2. Should I take Sophia’s Project Management course or will it cause issues with the later project management courses at UMPI? The “University of Maine at Presque Isle” wiki page says to avoid taking this course if you’re doing the PM & IS concentration because it will cause issues with the later project management courses at UMPI. However, the “UMPI BABA Project Management Degree Plan” wiki page includes it.
