According to the capstone course page, we can take the capstone when we're "near to completing" in our degree requirements. Does anyone know how flexible "near to completing" is? I'd like to complete it as early as I can.
Quote:Students should have completed or be near to completing all of their degree requirements before enrolling in this course.

You need at least 100 credits, including "most" of your UL courses. A TESU degree requires 18 UL credits including, including the capstone. 15, not including capstone. So you need to have 9 or 12 UL credits completed before they'll allow you to start your capstone.

Basically - You need to also think about the residency waiver fee or taking the 16 credits to waive that fee... My suggestion is, if you're going to take the courses, then do two terms and "save your brain cells", those neurons don't regenerate. Unless you are absolutely sure you have the energy and time to complete the courses all in one term, you don't want to unless you can extend the one or two courses. I highly recommend you complete 100+ credits towards your degree and have this all planned out before taking the capstone.

This is not actually correct I am not sure if it has changed. But I am currently enrolled and only have 3 UL and prior to this I was told I only need 100cr it did not matter if they were UL cr or not. You then contact a student advisor to remove the hold to register.

Interesting! That's good news, then.
