Complete WGU in 1 term?
#1
Has anyone completed WGU MBA degree within the first term? If so HOW? what are some tips that you can provide? What can i expect when i begin with them?

It is possible to complete the entire WGU MBA in one 6 month semester, it has been done many times. Once your admitted as a student you can access the WGU MBA student pages and the Facebook pages for each class, these are filled with tips and recommendations on how to complete the tasks quickly. 1 term is still blazing fast there around 30 papers/projects that must be written, submitted, and passed...its a lot of work. Each of the papers is 10+(-) pages with a good number being much longer than that. I also had 2 team projects (they really slow you down) and one web based project. There are 3 simulations that must be completed as well.

I have kept a running dialogue on my experiences here http://www.degreeforum.net/general-educa...eview.html I am on my last 2 courses, I should finish in about 15 months, though I took time off on several occasions. I know 1 term(6 months) is doable, but I think planning and accomplishing completion in 12-18 months is more realistic for most working students. You won't be held up by WGU but by your own personal life and work/study habits.

Let me know if you need a referral that waives most of the application fee....good luck!

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

It is entirely doable, but highly unlikely. There is one story of a student who completed his entire BS in Business Management in one six month term. He was unemployed. He woke up and spent 8 hours every day working on his coursework. It would be a lot more difficult with the MBA because the program has very few Objective Assessments (tests) and many (if not all) Performance Assessments (papers).
