Alas, my problem is more financial. I am trying to determine if my desire for a PhD is worth the investment. I am refinancing my house right now and now that money is at the forefront of my mind, I cannot justify unnecessary expenses. So I am slowing my progression through my program. But I find that I only have 2 speeds. Neutral and 6th gear at 120mph.
