If you are in the ARMY (maybe other branches) you can take classes at https://mwraonline.com/index.asp that are free and accredited by ACE. Free for military, maybe spouses? These wont show up on the ARMY AARTS but they will show up on ACE.


Defense Ammunition Center

Another one is the Welcome to DAC Training It is actually a .EDU There are a lot of courses on this site that are worth college credit. It is also free to all military. They range from basic courses on Small Arms Ammunition, cargo container inspection, to has-mat safety. If you are in the ARMY it is best for you to sign up for these courses through ATRRS https://atrrs.army.mil/selfdevctr/catalog/course.aspx so that you can also get promotion points for military education. Double dipping is fun. These will show up on the ARMY AARTS but they wont have any college credit recommendations, so you need to get them added to ACE.

The DAC courses are also available to some non-military, but it is pricey, and there are requirements you must meet.

You can go to acenet.edu and find out what the classes are worth college credit. I am not sure what colleges will take these. They are ACE accredited but in the end it is up to the college if they will accept them and what they will go towards. They will also count as civilian education points since they are college credit if you are looking for promotion points.

Naval Motor Vehicle and Railcar Inspection is not accredited right now. The one listed on ACE is for the old course. Then new course that is available now through DAC isn't approved through ACE yet. DAC says that it will most likely be evaluated and approved for credit later this year.

Found another free ACE accredited course. Free for Army. The course is very easy. Once you sign up for it you have to take the course through ALMS. When you complete the course you have to contact CRC tell them to send the confirmation to ACE. Currently they don't allow you to add it to your transcript online.

Does anyone know of anything like this for the Air Force? Any CBTs that count for credit? I got 6 from Sec + buts thats all I know about (other than upgrade training). Any wisdom would be appreciated!
