So I’m looking to further my education, strictly for more job opportunities at the manufacturing facility where I am employed. An associates would definitely help set me apart. My plan has been to get the BOG AAS from Pierpont but, the job I was hoping to land will more than likely be filled within the next month. I do not have time to finish my degree requirements or even really come close. However if I am enrolled in a degree program I believe this will give my résumé a more favorable appearance. Is it possible to register for the BOG AAS with only a few credits? Or should I consider other programs and institutions? Sorry first time poster. I’m sure this is not the proper place for this question but any direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The August graduation deadline passed, the soonesy you'll get the Pierpont degree is December. But the sooner you sign up, the sooner you could get your account set up which is a bit laborious.
What prior credits do you have?
There are discount codes for Sophia to sign up so that you can start steamrolling the faster courses that don't have touchstones. CLEP exams could also be very fast. Actfl exams award up to 12 credits in the spoken and writing exam if you already master a widely spoken foreign language.
I am taking the Google IT support cert slowly, but other people with prior knowledge of IT can finish it in a few days. Pierpont has a machinery associates degree, if you have prior machinery certs, they could be accepte for credit and maybe be the first person on this forum that has attained this specific AOS.

@Tzdok10 - Great intro post with some info... Having said that, you're missing the addendum and template! It's best to provide more details as it would show your budget, commitments, study habits and allow us to 'gauge' your previous studies up to this point. Your best option is to get as many transferred credits as possible to finish off the Pierpont degree, when you've max the transfer credits (or more), and be done with it... I'm not sure what your 'other' degree is, but that may take even longer! You can go for both if you have the energy, money, time to do so, depending on when you can get your parchment earliest...

I don't see why you can't apply to Pierpont and then list the BOG AAS as in progress on your resume. You could even list it on the strength of being enrolled and taking courses at Sophia if you really wanted to. The important thing is that if you are questioned (which is unlikely), you can explain why you listed it (and show documentation if someone insists).
However, I could see how one might feel better about claiming that if they were accepted or enrolled at a actual college.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
