Hi all!
I was wondering if anyone out there has taken the Intro. Psychology test and what was it like? Were there any areas that was a major focus on your test?
I always cram for tests at the last minute, so I would appreciate any helpful tips you may have. Thanks in advance!

I took this one. I can't remember if there was any specific areas that my test focused on more than others. I used the REA book exclusively and passed without any prior experience with the material. The biggest help for me are practice tests.

Lots of us have taken that. If you are new, you need to know how to get to the Specific Exam Feedback threads -- so you can read about our experiences and many people (with good memories) tell you areas to make sure you know more about.
Once you sign in to IC and click on discussions, there is another box to the right hand side of the page. Sign in again with the same information and you will see 3 forum choices increase to 4, with the Specific Exam Feedback forum at the bottom. Click on that and then on the right you will see a second search engine for this specific forum. Put in Intro to Psych and see what comes up, or scan the pages to see what else is there for future courses.
Happy Hunting!

I seem to remember them being good practice for this one, Read all the answer explanations even if you got the question right, it may just say something that will help with another question.

What the others said, and make sure you've studied all the areas outlined on the CLEP exam descriptions. There are a significant number of questions that you cannot work out through common sense, mostly relating to biology.

Coming from a fellow crammer...I used REA and it worked great. I read through the book 2-3x, and took notes. I find that writing important terms and definitions down really helped solidify the information in my mind. I reviewed all of the answers for the practice tests and retook them to make sure I had learned the correct info. Hope this helps!
