Has anyone taken a course from Clovis CC that requires tests/exams? I am just wondering if the exam has to be taken on an exact date, or can it be within a date range. Just wondering, if it's possible to take them on a Saturday as opposed to a work day.
thanks

Jonasling, I'm taking my first class at Clovis CC - Biology. There is a lot of reading, questions, and lab work, but I'm really enjoying it. In this class, the lab activity, study questions and quiz have to be done by a certain date. You can work ahead, which I did this week. I am going to take my Quiz tonight that is due by Friday at midnight. I'm keeping my two little grand-daughters the rest of the week so I wanted to get this out of the way. I will read on my next Chapter while I have them. I would imagine each professor is different, but I'd also assume that most have a date range of the test so if you wanted to take it on a Saturday, you could do it ahead of the due date and get it done. I hope this makes sense. Typed in a hurry.

My son will be taking 2 courses at Clovis in the fall and we plan for him to take 2 every semester thereafter as long as it makes sense. It is good to hear that you are enjoying your course.

I took Chemistry online at Clovis... I had the same experience has Nana. My quizzes & exams were all due by a certain date. I would guess that this might be different from prof to prof. I did take another class at another school and you only had a 12 hour window to complete exams.

I am actually enjoying this biology class. I did my first major exam last night. It was due by this Friday. It is a timed test and covered 4 chapters. I had about 3 minutes left to spare when I was finished. You definitely have to know where to find the information in order to finish. I am enjoying the labs; there are a lot of Chapter study questions but after reading the Chapter and then answering the questions, I feel like I half-way know more than I did before. And the Chapter quiz is timed, vocab words. And the professor has been very helpful when I emailed him. I highly recommend this class. I wish I had just done it and not taken the Physical Science class at PFC.

Aswadalj,
I'm currently taking Chem 113 at Clovis. In this class, there's no book required. The professor posts lecture notes on the website and all tests, etc... are based upon his notes.
