I'm not sure there's a real answer out there but anybody have a sense of what percentage of questions you need to get right to achieve a 50 on a CLEP? I have two that I need to complete by December (and have a full courseload as well) in order to get my Associates and transfer in January. I'm getting about 60% of the sample questions correct but am not sure what the threshold is. I'm studying for Macroeconomics CLEP now and would like to finish up w/ this one and then begin studying for my next one instead of doing theem simultaneously. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you're referring to Peterson's, I think 60% is good enough and you'll pass with some breathing room. I would guess most people are comfortable once they get into the 55-60% range. I like to be at least at 60+%, but I try to overstudy.
Just to give you point of reference, I looked back at the two peterson practice tests I took and I was at 70% and 85% and then 71 on the actual test.
Are you taking Microeconomics next by any chance? If so, any extra studying you can do with Macro has a good chance of helping you with Micro...lots of overlap.

I agree. If your sample tests are Peterson's 60 should get you a pass, but if your are using REA or something else you might want to try to get that score up a little. Most people say Peterson's are a little harder than the CLEP themselves.
