I'm starting to study for the Civil War exam. Has anybody scored well just using IC and the PBS Burns Civil War video series? I would like to get an A on the exam and was wondering if these two would be adequate. I like the idea of watching a video versus reading a boring book. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If you add the "Idiot's Guide To The Civil War" to IC and the Burns videos, you should be okay. That's what I did, and in retrospect, I don't think I could have done it without all three.

You also might want to consider getting a copy of the Rudman's Civil War book. You can get it from Amazon.
