So Aleks has three ACE approved Statistics classes:
Introduction to Statistics
Business Statistics
Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences
I tried Intro to Stats and it was really hard (34% on first assessment)!! I also heard that others found this Intro Stats course hard. I moved on to Algebra which is easier for me. But now I have time left on my Aleks subscription so I'm back to looking at Stats again. So are the other two also as difficult? Or what is better for me to try instead of Into... Business or Behavioral Sciences stats? Any advice?
Thanks!!

I took all three (passed all three on the initial assessment 97% and up). I found Introduction to Statistics to be the easiest amongst them all, Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences was brutal, mostly due to the nature Aleks likes you to plug your answers in. I think taking your time on the initial assessment is the most important. I probably spent a week if not more on each assessment, just taking my slow time on the questions. Each question you take should get harder than the one before, thats how you know you are marking the answers correctly.

Ok thanks, that helps. I'll try Business and let you know how it goes! :-)

I took all three courses. The three courses are very similar. The Intro course is the easiest to complete because it has the fewest topics. Business Stats is actually the hardest of the three to complete because it contains the most topics.

I also took all three stats courses. I think I'm the only one on this forum who does not weigh Aleks difficulty by the number of topics. I also feel precalculus is easier than trig; others disagree.
My scale on difficulty: Intro to Stats, Business Stats, Behavioral Stats
I felt the wording of the problems in business stats was easier to comprehend than behavioral; unless of course you have a social science background.
