Help! I need to take 4 upper-division(3000 and 4000 level) classes this summer online. I will be taking Human Growth and Development and Introduction to Educational Psychology CLEPS. The cheapest I found that is regionally accredited is Fort Hayes at $186.50/credit hour. I live in Tennessee if that helps. Anyone know of any cheaper options that are accredited?

$110ish/credit
Psychology-Independent Study in Idaho-University of Idaho
$160ish/credit
Psychology > Division of Extended Studies > Colorado State University-Pueblo
Should add that while they are more expensive, CSU-Pueblo has stellar customer service. U of Idaho is likely quite good too, but I have no first hand experience with them. If you can use them, CSU-Pueblo also has many Sociology courses to choose from as well.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

I like how cheap Idaho and Colorado are, but the proctoring is the issue for me. I work a full-time and part-time job and attend another university as well, so finding time to get that done would be an issue. I can consider BYU because 2 of the psychology classes I could see syllabi for did not require proctored exams, so I like that. I wish I could see the syllabi for a few of the other classes. That is a top choice right now! Thank you!

Once I complete my BSBA, I intend to work on a BA in Psych as well. I look forward to hearing how you feel about the classes you choose.

Do you need classes or can you test out? A lot of the TECEPS and UEXCEL tests are upper division psych and are only $99.

Also, someday maybe a MS in Forensic Psychology, just for fun. Oh, and a BS in Animal Behavior. And, maybe when I'm 85 a PhD in something fun.

mednat- I will definitely let you know what I choose and how it works out.
GoodYellowDogs- I planned on testing out of Educational Psych and Growth and Development with CLEP. I need 18 credits for the minor, 12 must be upper division( 4 classes). I already have 3 credits of lower division(general psych). The 2 CLEPs will count as upper division. I technically only need 3(2 UD+ 1 LD) classes but I have an extra 3 hours I would need to complete. Hmmm... I'll probably just go with BYU after all and call it a day...
Also, to stray a bit off topic, how do you feel about your Healthcare MBA program?
