Hello all,
I am a pastor trying to further my education. I am currently working on my Bachelors degree, but I am curious about Masters and past graduate work done for cheap. I want to get my degree done as soon as possible. I do not want a Masters in Divinity because my church does not require it and I have a few years of experience mostly need the deep theological training, but I am looking for a program that will allow me to be admitted into a Doctorate in ministry or Phd in Theology program. Just want to make sure no matter what I do it is accredited and won't break the back.

If you are a veteran, Liberty charges only $250 per credit through the Master's degree. Their PhD programs get a little expensive though. If I were planning a Phd, I would try to find an affordable Master's program where most of the credits would transfer to a Phd.

DegreeInfo.com has an obsession with theology and divinity degrees. I'm sure you can find a lot of suggestions there. They often refer people to Baker's Guide.

Global University is regionally accredited and charges a little over $9,000 for their Master of Arts.

Generally, it seems that the accreditation and distance learning/cheap schools aren't ever one in the same, though I'd be interested to learn differently.

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary has MA programs. A lot of people go straight from their research MAs directly into PhD programs.

Some of their MAs are 36 credit hours; I think the research ones are 60 credit hours. They have a lot of online available. Also scholarships.
They are about $300/credit hour if you are Southern Baptist. They also let you transfer in up to 1/4 of your degree if you did the same courses in an undergrad program.
