Challenging Straighterline Exams

Has anyone had any luck challenging Straighterline exams or quizzes. I've taken quite a few SL courses and have had a few questions reviewed as wrong when I knew they were correct, but it's never quite affected my grade so much as this last one has.

I've had mixed results. When I took a lab test in Intro to Bio it had some questions from the A&P textbook (I was mad). They were pretty inept in dealing with it (no one seemed to see a problem with quizzing me on topics from another class I wasn't taking) but finally let me retake it.

I challenged a question that was definitely marked wrong on Business Ethics and quoted the relevant textbook material. They corrected the error.

Your best bet is to open a ticket and quote the material from the textbook (also include a page number, etc) then explain how marking this answer wrong contradicts the textbook. They should fix it pretty quickly.

Were you using the same edition of the text book as listed in their syllabus? I'm using 2 editions ahead of what they're requiring, worried the won't accept it because of that. But these are obvious screw ups. One of the questions was even on my midterm that I took and the same answer I listed on the quiz that was counted wrong was counted correct on the midterm... oh straighterline...

Yes I had the edition they listed. I'd still try it, I doubt the text has changed that much.

I would definitely open in a ticket in that case. Did you flag the question in question or save it somehow? Even if you didnt, if you can point to exactly which question it was I think you have a pretty good case.
