So, I have been wracking my brain trying to come up with topics/ideas. My major is BA.SS, so social sciences can include history, behavior health, etc.
I like Community Health, so was thinking something to do with the history of Community Health in the US (from what I recall it often dealt with educating mothers/families of immigrants & other economically disadvantaged peoples).
How would I propose this?
Is there another angle I could come from? Other topic suggestions????
I did a brain dump in a mind map style. I'm interested in linguistics/language so I wrote that in the middle of my page and circled it. Then I branched off and wrote different things under that topic. Then each branch had its own little branches with broad topics that were of interest to me. You could do a similar exercise and explore the community health topics that are of interest to you - why you chose this field, what you hope to accomplish, what services you think are needed, etc. That will help you narrow down a topic. If you are interested in educating families, that would make an awesome topic. I included some links that might help you.
